About ICI

The International Career Institute (ICI) is an independent and private provider of online education.

ICI students are given skills that will change their employment prospects and increase their value to employers. The Institute listens to employers via its strong links to industry.

The Institute currently offers 56 career and lifestyle focused courses to a broad range of adult learners regardless of location or prior experience and education.

ICI is recognized internationally. The Institute has:

Accreditations, Registrations, Affiliations & Memberships

ICI is accredited and recognised by the International Association of Private Career Colleges (IAPCC). IAPCC accreditation ensures that the Institute has met IAPCC benchmarks in the areas of course content, course delivery, student assessments, administration and tutorial faculty.
ICI is accredited and recognised by the International Approval and Registration Centre (IARC). Founded in 1999, IARC is a non-profit education industry association that assesses quality control systems for education providers. IARC recognizes, approves and endorses institutions that have met and satisfied a set of academic, ethical and operational standards.
ICI is an Approved Training Provider with the International Institute of Complementary Therapists (IICT). IICT is one of Australia’s leading professional bodies representing practitioners operating within the natural health industry. IICT is relevant to Nutrition courses offered by ICI.
ICI is a member of the Australian Society of Horticulture Science. AuSHS promotes the horticulture profession, the study of horticulture, introduces codes of management and ethics and provides technical advice to government and industry organisations.
ICI is a member of Adult Learning Australia (ALA). ALA is the national peak body for the Adult and Community Education fields. ALA has both organizational and individual members in all States and Territories who reflect the diversity of adult and community education. ALA is primarily funded by a project grant from the Department of Industry.
ICI is an educational member of the International Nanny Association (INA). In 1985 nanny agency owners, nannies and nanny educators from Australia, New Zealand, United States, England, Canada, and New Zealand gathered at Scripps College in Claremont, California, for the first INA conference. Since 1985 INA has become the global industry body for Nannies all around the world. (Relevant to Nanny courses offered by ICI).
ICI is a design school member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). ICI students are eligible to join the IIDA as Student Members, which qualifies them for entry to trade shows and provides discounts on products. (Relevant to: Interior Design & Decoration courses offered by ICI).
ICI is a member of the European Association for Distance Learning (EADL) and has agreed to abide by its Code of Conduct and conform to its Quality Standards. EADL represents private and non-governmental European education providers offering high quality and educationally sound distance learning.
ICI has signed a Corporate Covenant with the UK Ministry of Defence. ICI is a college that is committed to supporting member’s of the Armed Forces through subsidised training and scholarships. ICI has had a long tradition of training members of the Armed Forces and those transitioning back to civilian life.
ICI is a CMA College Member and is found on the Complementary Medical Association’s Register of Education Providers. ICI has met the expectations of this global organization which represents more than 100 colleges and 15,000 practitioners in the field. ICI is registered with Intellectual Property (IP) Australia. Trade Mark number: 1482489. The trademark is for the following services: vocational education and adult education services, namely conducting distance learning instruction, provision of education courses and employment training.
ICI is a participant of the U.N. Department of Economic and Social Affairs “Civil Society” initiative. ICI is listed on the Civil Society Network, a web portal devoted to non-government organizations in association with the United Nations to promote best practices in the field of economic and social development. ICI is a representative of its student body which resides in some 78 countries worldwide.
ICI is recognized by Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists, and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH). ACCPH is an independent professional body and register for people in the counselling and psychology professions.
ICI is a member of the International Vocational Education and Training Association (IVETA). Founded in 1984, IVETA is dedicated to the advancement and improvement of high-quality vocational education and training.

Our mission is to provide our learners with high-quality courses that develop highly effective graduates who have the knowledge and skills to embark on a new chosen career or advance themselves in careers they may already be engaged with.
